God's Easter Miracles ~ Book Review

*This post contains affiliate links*

God's Easter Miracles written by Lee Ann Mancini and illustrated by Dan Sharp is a fun story about Easter written in a way children will understand.

About God's Easter Miracles:
In this book, the sea kids learn that Easter is not all about the candy or the bunny. Easter is about Jesus giving His life for us and how we are to sacrifice ourselves for others. Through different scenarios like Paul who is autistic, Jimmy not wanting to share, and Lenny who was in an accident the sea kids learn what Easter is all about. The children learn about the power of prayer.

About Lee Ann and Dan:
Lee Ann is a professor at South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary. She has earned a bachelor's and two Master's degrees. She is a wife and mother of two and has devoted her life as a servant for Christ.

Dan is an artist with over 30 years experience. He has a bachelor's degree and has illustrated many children's books. He has specialized in creating licensed artwork designs for Disney, Warner Brothers, American Greetings, and many others.

My review:
I read this to my 6-year-old daughter. She didn't know what autistic meant because it has never come up. I explained it to her and she was able to understand the story better. We both loved the illustrations in the book. The book is very colorful and easy to read. I like how the author uses some "real life" experiences to show how we should be praying. This is a great book to read to children to show how Jesus gave his life for us and how we should treat others. We loved this book and give it 5 stars!
