Another week

We made it through our 3rd full week of school. Everything is going great.

Week off

Since Kevin was sick Monday and Tuesday and it was Josiah's birthday on Wednesday, I just decided to take the whole week off. We can't wait to get back on track on Monday.

A Setback

Kevin woke up sick on Monday with some kind of stomach bug, so we took a break yesterday and today.

Flying by already

Wow, we have completed 2 full weeks of school and everything is running smoothly. I let the boys sleep in until 9 or 9:30 every morning (we stay up late) and we are still finished with school by 1:30 (with a lunch break at noon.

July 3

We went to New Bern (NC) and visited some of the historic buildings.

We went to the New Bern Academy. It was the 1st school in NC to be established by the law.






We also saw Tryon Palace (we didn't tour it).




It was a fun afternoon.

1st day of school

Today was our first day of the 2009 - 2010 school year. It went very well. The boys did great and were finished by lunchtime.
