T is for Trust in the Lord (Free Printable)

I have had a rough beginning to 2018. I really cannot believe that it is already March and that I have actually made it this far. So when thinking about what I should write about for the letter T for blogging through the alphabet, this verse came to mind.  In order for me to have gotten this far this year, I have had to fully trust in the Lord with all of my heart.

This verse has helped me get through the rough times this year. I do have to keep reminding myself to fully trust that God will handle all of my problems and that I don’t need to worry. He already knows the end, He is just waiting for me to trust Him fully.

The rest of the verse says “lean not on thine own understanding.” We are not to rely on ourselves to get us through the rough times. We are not to stand alone when trying times come our way. If we fully trust the Lord, we will have the faith needed to get us through and we will not be alone in our troubles. We will have God by our side.

Enjoy this free coloring printable I made for the first part of Proverbs 3:5. Remember to “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart.”

President Donald J. Trump ~ Copywork Freebie

A couple of years ago, I worked on a president copywork freebie. I was asked if I was going to add Donald Trump and I had forgotten about it. I switched computers and realized all of my stuff was on the old computer. I thought I had saved it to One Drive but did not. So, I dug out my old computer and made a page for Donald Trump. Enjoy. Resources

I am always looking for resources to use in my homeschool. I have found several free printables for the curriculum I am using. One thing I have not found is the phonics charts for special sounds for Abeka. I decided to just make some plain black and white printable phonics charts to help others.

Some other Abeka resources I found are:

Learning Numbers ~ Free Printable

I will begin teaching my 3 year old daughter her numbers and letters this coming year. She already knows a few letters and can count to 10. I've been looking for some number activities, but really haven't found anything I like. I made some number cards and decided to share them with you.

They have the number on one card and an object on another card of that number. I plan to laminate mine and cut them apart to use for learning and as a matching game. I only did numbers 1-10 for right now.

I've known about PicMonkey for a while now. I use it every once in a while to make a pinnable image for the blog. Recently, I have gotten back into using it more and have created my new header and I also made my favorite verse as subway art.
