Fridays
This school year, my girls have the opportunity to attend co-op classes on Fridays. The classes are based on Charlotte Mason's method of teaching. My girls are going to be learning Spanish, doing Swedish Drills, going on nature walks and journaling about it, handicrafts, Shakespeare, and so much more.
Yesterday was our first day, and my girls had so much fun. They are looking forward to getting out of the house each week, learning new things, and making new friends.

The Delilah Box
A few weeks ago, I was introduced to The Delilah Box from a post I saw on Facebook. It looked interesting to me, so I decided to go ahead and sign up to see what it had in it.
Wow! It was more than what I thought it would be. My first box was delivered a few days after I subscribed and I was so excited to open it and see all of the goodies.
First of all, the goodies are delivered in a beautiful hand-sewn drawstring bag. Side note, I received a purple bag for my first delivery and purple is my favorite color!
When opened, there are three books and several other goodies (it will vary month to month). In my new subscriber bag, I received two fiction books (another side note- I love reading Amish fiction!) and one nonfiction book.
I also received some postcards, cards with envelopes, a writing pad, and a couple of bookmarks. She also included a pretty necklace.
And a bonus since I was a new subscriber, I received all of the back issues of "The Journey" series.
This months box is set to be here in a few days and I am so looking forward to seeing what the goodies will be for this month.
This is a great box for all the ladies that love to read Christian authors and love to be encouraged.
P.S. ~ I was not compensated in any way for this post. I just really loved the product and wanted more people to know about it. It would make a great gift for a birthday or Christmas.

It's Been A While!
It's been a while since I last blogged. I decided to keep this blog up so those searching for products that I have reviewed in the past are able to find them and not come across a broken link.
With that being said, I will blog every once in a while to keep updates on what is going on in our homeschool.
We recently started our 2019-2020 homeschool year. We have a 12th grader, 11th grader, 9th grader, and a 3rd grader. Things have been going great so far. Tomorrow we will end week three. My oldest is still working his job, going to soccer practice, and learning to fit his academics into his schedule. My 11th grader wanted to challenge himself this year by taking Pre-Calculus. He is doing well so far with the Teaching Textbooks Pre-Calculus program. My 9th and 3rd grade girls are going to be going to a co-op this year and they are excited to be able to do classes outside of the house. We start classes next Friday (August 23) and we are all looking forward to this new adventure.
