Field Trip

Last Tuesday, we went on a field trip with our homeschooling group.  We went to the aquarium and to a fort, Fort Macon.  At the aquarium, we listened to a talk that was all about turtles. After the talk, the kids got to touch a live sea turtle.  We then toured the aquarium on our own.  When we met at the fort, we listened to the ranger talk about the history of the fort.  He also demonstrated how to fire a musket.
