We began our trip on Tuesday, July 16. It was an 18+ hour trip from North Carolina. We were also traveling with my brother and sister in law and their children.
Finally made it to the Mississippi River:
After traveling all night Tuesday and all day Wednesday, we finally saw this sign about 5 PM:
Since we arrived Wednesday night, we were able to take Thursday as a sight seeing day. We headed to Tulsa and visited Oral Roberts University. We also drove a little ways on Route 66.

Saturday, July 20th, was the big day! We arrived at the church and everyone was getting ready and taking pictures.

We went to church the next morning and left Oklahoma at about 6 PM. We knew we had a long trip ahead of us. We traveled all night on Sunday and all day on Monday. Monday, July 22, was also my youngest son's 10th birthday.
It was so great to finally be back in North Carolina!
